Iceni: Honing our approach to delivering public good
Iceni was founded nine years ago with a mission to deliver public good. Over time, we’ve sharpened our understanding of what that means and how we can create real, lasting impact.
At our inception, the world faced significant challenges—but today, the risk from these challenges has grown exponentially. Climate crises, deepening social inequalities and economic pressures have made the need for public good outcomes more urgent than ever.
As global challenges escalate, so does our responsibility to act effectively and with purpose. Through years of learning, adapting and refining our approach, Iceni is more prepared than ever to meet these challenges head-on and deliver thoughtful and scalable solutions.
The handprint philosophy
Our philosophy is built on the “handprint” concept. As a team of program design and evaluation specialists, the handprint philosophy drives us to think beyond mitigating negative impacts (i.e. reducing ‘footprint’) and to actively create opportunities to deliver positive outcomes for both society and the environment (“handprint”).
As economic conditions become more challenging and budgets constrain, this has required us to be more strategic, creative and efficient in our approach.
Critical success factors
The following are the critical success factors which underpin our approach.
Conclusion: sharpening our mission
