Don has 35 years of experience in State and Local government and had hands on involvement in setting up innovative procurement arrangements on a $2+ billion NSW Government infrastructure program.
His primary focus over the last five years has been developing and delivering procurement reforms across the NSW public sector.
Don has extensive experience in providing high level strategic advice to ministers, cabinet and executives on matters relevant to whole of government, including procurement reform, labour relations and regulation. Don’s career has also included ground-breaking work introducing commissioning and contestability into government markets and leading business case reviews for major projects for the NSW Minister for Finance.
