Why the name Iceni?
Our name was inspired by our admiration for the vision and courage of Boudica, who in 60AD led her Iceni tribe in an uprising against the invading Roman army.
It’s no secret that women are under represented in senior government and consulting firms, right across Australia. At Iceni we have a policy of identifying opportunities for women, and seeking out potential high calibre candidates to fill these roles – either in a contracting capacity or as permanent employees. And as a women-owned business we’re committed to making sure that the barriers (either real or perceived) which hold women back in the workforce are non-existent in our organisation.

Supporting Sydney Women’s Fund
We are passionate about progressing the equality agenda for women from all cultures and backgrounds, and we believe strongly in embodying this within our organisation and the broader industry we work in. As a result of our hugely positive experience with the Sydney Women’s Fund (SWF), we have established the Iceni sub-fund of SWF. We engage in giving both financial and non-financial donations to drive for social change. Our philanthropic approach is aligned to our values.
FY21 – Supporting Indigenous Women in Leadership
This financial year, Iceni is proud to support the CareerTrackers Indigenous Women Career Mentoring program. The aim is to create greater representation of First Nations leaders across corporate Australia and the wider community through supporting leadership opportunities.
