Public sector and community organisations are responsible for some of the most complex issues we face as a society – their impact transforms lives.
The challenges and opportunities faced by the public sector require collective insight and commitment across structural boundaries.
We specialise in:
- Managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Transforming operating models
- Business cases, governance and project management
Fostering collaborative partnerships
Our clients have demanding roles and seek clarity to inspire and lead through complexity. We act as an internal partner – providing pragmatic and real-time project management.
We help leaders break down silos and engage with their stakeholders by facilitating and encouraging collaboration within and across organisations. This accelerates the delivery of projects and optimises public good outcomes.

Why the name Iceni?
Our name was inspired by our admiration for the vision and courage of Boudica, who in 60AD led her Iceni tribe in an uprising against the invading Roman army.
It’s no secret that women are under represented in senior government and consulting firms, right across Australia. At Iceni we have a policy of identifying opportunities for women, and seeking out potential high calibre candidates to fill these roles – either in a contracting capacity or as permanent employees. And as a women-owned business we’re committed to making sure that the barriers (either real or perceived) which hold women back in the workforce are non-existent in our organisation.
Iceni are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and providing top quality work environment for all of our employees and the clients we work with. Read more…
Supporting Sydney Women’s Fund
We are passionate about progressing the equality agenda for women from all cultures and backgrounds, and we believe strongly in embodying this within our organisation and the broader industry we work in. As a result of our hugely positive experience with the Sydney Women’s Fund (SWF), we have established the Iceni sub-fund of SWF. We engage in giving both financial and non-financial donations to drive for social change. Our philanthropic approach is aligned to our values.
FY21 – Supporting Indigenous Women in Leadership
Iceni is extremely proud to work with the Sydney Women’s Fund to fund support the Orana Women’s Health Centre in the Sutherlandshire LGA to fund a domestic violence caseworker, on their ‘Safety and Healing Program’. This program offers case management and counselling to woman experiencing domestic and family violence. Their DV Case Worker has worked previously with the Police so brings a new insight for women in navigating their safety with authorities.
We look forward to making further positive contributions to the advancement of women through this initiative. If you would like to make a donation to the Iceni sub-fund of the SWF, please click here.
The work and deliverables from Iceni were of a very high standard and were favourably received by all key stakeholders. The Iceni team consistently displayed a high degree of professionalism and engaged effectively with all stakeholders … (They) made a valuable contribution to significant infrastructure programs throughout all phases of the project life cycle. Iceni were reliable and pragmatic in their approach and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them in future engagements.
